The Grande Fjord Hotel was finished building in 1996, and has from the first day offered high standard of comfort, peace and quiet, surrounded by tall mountains, green forrests and the beautiful Geiranger fjord. It is located 2km north-west from the centre of Geiranger, away from the noise and cruice hordes. Comfort and service is our main focus, as we do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. We offer a total of 48 rooms, 40 of them are facing the fjord.

A renovation is in progress and will be 100% finished by 2017.

Our restaurant serves a dinner buffet every evening, made of only local, quality ingredients. Breakfast is also served every morning from 07:30 - 10:00 and is always included in the room price.

Petrines is located in the pristine village of Norddal, just a few kilometres from the borders of Gerianger-Herdalen World Heritage Site, several nature reserves and the Reinheimen National Park. The fjord is reached within a few minutes' walk.
