This has been a family run property since 1980(apart from a 5yr break between 2010-2015) built by our father with passion and love for the old, antique and the disappearing workmanship. He has used different parts of old houses like ironwork, woodwork, stone carvings in building and decorating to preserve the rare workmanship of old times. In the middle is a large garden with beautiful roses, jasmines, lemon and sourcherry trees.
Recently renovated, Kalehan is a long established family-run hotel built and landscaped in the style of an Ottoman inn using traditional materials and antique furniture just beneath the Byzantine Castle. Large collection of books are available for guests.
All the rooms and the restaurant are surrounded by a large attractive garden with swimming pool. There are special rooms decorated with antiques and located in a separate building facing the beautiful rose garden.
