Fattoria Il Colombaio is a symbol of the local reality, a witness and maker of the progress and changes in the region since 1897. That's the year when the Municipality of Monteriggioni honoured us with a prize for our dedication to our land. The area we own is larger than 70 hectares, here you can find our wine cellar, 15 hectares of vineyard and the olive grove. We produce different kind of wines, Chianti Classico, Chianti Colli Senesi and Super Tuscan both white and red. The fine quality of our products has been awarded with international prizes around the world in many occasions.
Boasting a large seasonal outdoor pool and a shared BBQ, Fattoria Il Colombaio is a working farm surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. It is in the Tuscan countryside 2 km from Monteriggioni.
The property produces its own Chianti wine and olive oil. The on-site cellar can be visited and guests can enjoy wine and food tasting tours, as well as buying some of the produce.
A sweet and savoury buffet breakfast is served daily.
All air conditioned, the rooms feature a TV, a minibar, and a private bathroom with hairdryer. They have rustic-style furnishings with wrought-iron beds and wood-beamed ceilings.
