We love this property so much that it is not only where we built our hotel, but our home as well. We chose this location on the side of the hill because of its incredible natural beauty. As with our home, every casa and casita of Los Colibris has truly magnificent views of the Pacific ocean and the palm grove oasis. We often not only see whales from our beds and terraces, but we can hear the great whooooshes as they spout air upon surfacing, and the incredible splashes as the males indulge in whale-tale smackdowns to impress passing females. We are often delighted to see manta rays leaping across the ocean’s surface, and we can hear the flap, flap, flap of their bodies connecting with the ocean just to get ready to soar again. The grounds of Los Colibris are filled with both native plants and those imported by missionaries and other early Baja travelers, and this abundance of plant life attracts many kinds of birds, including the colibris or hummingbirds for which the property is named. Over 150 bird species have been recorded in the area around Los Colibris.
Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Los Colibris Casitas is a 10-minute walk from the beach and 5 minutes’ drive from restaurants, shops and art galleries in Todos Santos Town.
