Our Hotel enjoys a most central, yet astonishing quiet and sunny location in the heart of town.
Made from local wood and Matterhorn stone, which gives the traditional alpine touch, the Matterhorn Lodge matches

This 4**** Lodge offers luxurious accomodation in hotel rooms, two suites and a fabulous sixbed penthouse apartment as well as a cosy lounge around an open fireplace, a housebar, rich breakfast and a spacious wellness area.
A no more than two minutes' walk will get you to the famous Zermatt Bahnhofstrasse or the skibus stop for skiing and hiking.

Many a day of inspiring hikes in the vicinities of the Schönbühlglacier and below the awsome North face of the Matterhorn led us to create our Spa «Muttgletscher». A visit of our spacious Wellness area will transmit energy and strength of the rocks, while enchanting scents from our woods and alpine flowers invite you to dive into a deep relaxing mood.
Opened in December 2012, Hotel Matterhorn Lodge is located in the historic centre of Zermatt. Decorated in a classic Alpine style, it features a wellness area with 3 different saunas. A ski bus stop is a 2-minute walk away.
Units at the Matterhorn Lodge have 1 or 2 flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, a bathroom and modern furnishings. Some units have a kitchen or kitchenette, and some offer Matterhorn views. A rich breakfast is served every morning.
The Matterhorn Lodge features a hotel bar and a ski storage room. A shuttle service to the train station is provided free of charge.
Next to the Bahnhofstrasse and the Kirchplatz, it is 300 metres from the closest restaurant. The Sunnegga Cable Car Station and the Zermatt Train Station are within 500 metres of the Lodge.
