Tradicampo Country Houses comprises four antique places: Casa da Fonte and Casa da Talha which are independent Houses; Casa do Tanque and A Arribana belong to a fenced property named Casas do Pátio sharing all the outside area.
All the Houses were carefully restored by using traditional materials. Also, some new parts characterised by contemporary aesthetical options were added to the houses in order to improve their living conditions.
For the interior decoration traditional restored furniture together with contemporary objects were used in order to obtain high levels of authenticity and comfort.
The surrounding plots of land have been transformed into gardens, where the peace and quiet of the countryside can be enjoyed.
Composed by traditional rural houses, Tradicampo offers a natural setting in São Miguel, Azores. The houses have been renovated using traditional materials and adding a modern feel.
Offering views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Tanque, Arribana, Varanda, Cisterna and Granel houses come with a shared outdoor swimming pool and garden area. All include private verandas with barbecue facilities. The houses of Tradicampo are located in different locations.
On arrival, guests will find a warm welcoming basket with bread, homemade jams, milk, coffee, tea, fruit, butter and cheese, along basic grocery items. Guests can prepare their meals in the fully equipped kitchen facilities.
As a guest at Tradicampo, you can enjoy a book while seating in the veranda watching the sunset, or use the free bicycles to explore the surrounding natural area. For colder days, there is a wood stove and free wood available in each house, plus an electric heater.
Ponta Delgada International Airport is 55 km away. Lagoa das Furnas is 25 km and Lagoa do Fogo (lagoons) is 40 km away.
