Thistle House is a traditional period property with individually designed rooms and modern ensuite bathrooms. It is located on the East shore of Loch Fyne with uninterrupted views across the Loch to Inveraray Castle. The property sits in 2 acres of wrap around wooded gardens attracting many beautiful birds and one can sit amongst the shrubs and flowers contemplating the peace and tranquillity away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. In the evenings because of very little light pollution the sky at night can also be amazing.

Situated in a scenic wooded garden, Thistle House Guest House overlooks Loch Fyne to Inveraray and its famous castle. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are provided in this spacious Victorian country house.

Views of Loch Fyne or the garden are featured in each room at Thistle House, as well as a flat-screen TV, en suite bathroom and a hospitality tray. Rooms are individually named after local clans of the surrounding west coast of Scotland.

A full Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room, which overlooks the loch and Inveraray. Lighter options are also available and all produce is locally sourced. Guests can also relax in the lounge which features a log fire, and a selection of books and information on the local area.

The town of Inveraray is just a 25-minute drive and features an 18th-century castle and a Maritime Heritage Museum. Quad biking, archery and clay shooting can be enjoyed in Blairmore, which is just under 40 minutes by car.
