The Amon Hotel was the first hotel to be built in Gezira el Bairat by Ahmed Mahmoud Soliman, after he realised that there was a need for a hotel in the village.
The hotel now has three large buildings, all of which overlook the tropical gardens, which have been developed since the opening of Amon Hotel.
