The B2 Hotel was established about 13 years ago within the historic Hürlimann Brewery. Throughout the interior design of this boutique hotel, there are constant references to its rich past. Original industrial chic elements are complemented by design classics from De Sede, Le Corbusier, and others.
The Library, the hotel’s gastronomic heart, is particularly noteworthy with its 33,000 books, enormous beer-bottle chandeliers, and oversized factory windows. The 60 rooms and suites are elegantly functional, featuring photographic snapshots from the brewery’s history. Highlights include the bathrooms set within wooden cubes, and the duplex suites located in the former cooling ship, with freestanding bathtubs in the bedrooms and private loggias. The B2gym, located in the former pump hall, is equipped with state-of-the-art training equipment. Hotel guests enjoy direct, discounted access to the adjacent Hürlimannbad & Spa, including the famous rooftop infinity pool. The two boardrooms, equipped with the latest video call technology, can accommodate up to 18 persons. The Maschinenhalle, with 370 square metres of space, provides the perfect venue for art exhibitions, product launches, or literary readings.
