Salvadonica

Rated 9.2 in 1212 reviews. 30 rooms.

The history of Salvadonica dates from the XIV century. Originally there was a project for a convent but it was never completed. The buildings were in fact acquired from Family Corsini (a noble Florentine family) who made the homes of farmers working their land and looked after the animals.
Over time the farm has expanded and has changed until it became a resort destination for guests from all over the world

Set in the Chianti hills, this stone guesthouse features an outdoor pool and is located in the rural hamlet of Salvadonica. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, it offers en suite accommodation with Tuscan-style furnishings and free Wi-Fi.

Air-conditioned rooms and suites are uniquely decorated and have different rustic features, such as wrought-iron beds, frescoed walls, or exposed wood-beamed ceilings.

Pastries, jams, cold meats and cheeses feature in the buffet breakfast , which is served in a room overlooking the Tuscan hills. The Salvadonica also features a small restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, which serves local specialities and the property’s own olive oil and wine.

Guests can relax in the large garden, which encircles the swimming pool and overlooks the Tuscan countryside. Massages under the gazebo can be booked upon request.

The property provides free private parking and is well placed for visiting Florence, 20 km away. Siena can be reached by car in 50 minutes.
