Cardhu Country House is a former manse situated next to Knockando church and in the heart of Speyside. Having been restored to retain its historical character, our home has also been updated to ensure a warm, cosy and welcoming environment for our guests to enjoy during their stay. Generously proportioned bedrooms allow space to relax and the tranquil location affords the opportunity for relaxation.

Welcome to Cardhu Country House which sits in the very heart of the Malt Whisky Trail.

Cardhu Country House is an exclusive rural retreat in Speyside's Whisky Country, offering luxury bed and breakfast and fully-catered accommodation. We have six en-suite guest rooms with a guest lounge, dining room and gardens.

The House was originally built in 1868 as the manse of Knockando Parish Church, and it sits in its own stunning, walled garden with views of the local hills, mountains and rolling countryside.

We are located in the Spey Valley close to Aberlour and at the very heart of the Whisky Trail, where more than half of Scotland's malt whisky distilleries are to be found and just a mile from the River Spey, famous for its salmon fishing. The Speyside Way, the long-distance walking and cycling route linking the Cairngorms to the Moray Coast, is a short walk away.
