VALDONICA Winery is located in the hills of Maremma, in Southern Tuscany. Grapes and hearts are spoilt by the magic view across rolling hills, the fertile flatlands and the blue sparkling Mediterranean Sea. This is where we planted 14 hectares/30 acres of vineyards in virginal soil – all organic. We focus on making world-leading wines from re-cultivated, forgotten grapes, home in Tuscany. All our wines mature in barrique and stainless steal – in our newly built Cantina.
Guest-rooms are built into the trendy Cantina, into our idyllic Villas and into the historic Manor House Capo Pagiano. All materials are organic and follow the latest low-energy concepts. Small details and precious materials add to the quality of Valdonica. Guests discover here their own Valdonica spirit – and they return to flourish it!
Set in the Maremma hills, Valdonica Residence offers an outdoor pool, surrounded by 200 acres of countryside, vineyards and forests.
Everything about the VALDONICA Winery I Residence I Restaurant is organic. This ranges from the wine it produces to its eco-friendly energy supply.
The residence consists of 3 different buildings: the Villa, Cantina and Capo Pagiano.
It has lots of lounges and terraces overlooking the gardens and hills. In addition, guests can enjoy the outdoor pool located by the Cantina building, and offering panoramic views of the countryside.
Rooms are a mix of elegant country and modern styles. Each is equipped with satellite TV, a tea/coffee maker, and cosy bathrobes and slippers.
The Valdonica is a 30-minute drive from Grosseto and 50 km from the coast of Tuscany.
