Punga Lodge is built on the side of a valley overlooking native bush, three minutes walk to Little Oneroa Beach for safe swimming, picnicking, free bbqs and a shaded children's playground. And a 12 minute walk (one km) to Waiheke's main town of Oneroa with its shops, cafes, restaurants, medical centre etc. Punga Lodge has a mix of self contained units and bed and breakfast rooms so it can cater for singles, couples, families and even small dogs with one animal friendly unit. There is a small barky dog "Spud" resident on site and two friendly cats. A popular feature are the complimentary homemade afternoon teas served every day from 3 pm to 5.30 pm on the main deck or delivered to your unit as you prefer. There is a spa pool in a private room on the main deck available to all guests for private half hour bookings at no extra charge. Every self contained unit has free wifi, cooking facilities, access to BBQ, private decks and they are serviced daily. The reception is staffed from 7 am to midnight every day to help with any of your needs including tour/restaurant bookings, directions etc. And owners Dyan and Rob are on call (just phone) overnight to provide any assistance needed.
