Cliveden has enjoyed a pivotal role in Britain’s history for 350 years. This iconic stately home has played host to everything from smoldering scandals to royal retreats. The great and the good of many a generation have made Cliveden their own over the centuries.
Today our legacy lives on as one of the world’s finest luxury hotels. A meticulous two-year restoration project marks our celebration of 350 extraordinary years. We continue to lovingly return Cliveden to its former glory, as befits a great house in the heart of the Berkshire countryside surrounded by 376 breathtaking beautiful acres of National Trust gardens.

We now welcome you to make Cliveden yours, and to mark your own special moments in history.
Panoramic views over the River Thames may inspire you to enjoy lazy hours lounging on one of our vintage launches.
