Fairlawns is a privately owned 5 acre boutique hotel that was established in 1997, although it has been owned since 1986, as a private residence. The owners still live on the property. Fairlawns became a Virtuoso member, one of only two in Johannesburg, in October 2012. Fairlawns has also recently won the World Luxury Spa Award for the Best Hotel Spa in S Africa.
