Parklands Country Club is a well established leisure complex situated in the affluent Southside of Glasgow. It was built in 1990 and our current owner, Michael Modlin took over in June 1995 and since doing so he has added to all its initial features including 3 gym refurbishments, 2 food and beverage facelifts and a massive improvement to the pool and spa facilities after a dreadful fire in 2005, which tore the roof right off the pool area.
He has once again taken on a huge project of building our current 30 bedroom boutique hotel which started in April 2015 and open its doors in June 2016. The Hotel offers 1 Luxurious Parklands Suite, 4 Deluxe Executive Suites and 25 deluxe double rooms. We have also added on a new function suite and residents lounge/bar area. As you can see Mr Modlin does not like to stand still and has faced many successful challenges over the years.
Located in Newton Mearns in Glasgow, Southside district, Parklands Hotel & Country Club is 10 miles from Glasgow city centre. Guests can watch the SECC, Hydro, Hampden Park and Guests can attend concerts in the SEC, Hydro and Hampden Park with ease., 25 miles from the property. Silverburn shopping centre is 5 miles from the hotel.
All rooms at the hotel feature a large work station with free WiFi. Deluxe rooms offer smart TVs with Sky sports, tea and coffee making facilities, in-room safes, iron and ironing boards. There are en-suite facilities in all rooms, which include power showers and deep baths. Some rooms also provide sofa beds for additional sleeping spaces, and connecting rooms and accessible rooms for those with limited mobility are also available.
Parklands Hotel contains a modern gym fully equipped with cardiovascular equipment, a swimming pool, Jacuzzi®, sauna and aroma steam room. Guests can also relax in the hotel’s Beauty Spot Spa.
Guests can start their day with breakfast served in Michaels Bistro. During the day Michaels' provides a relaxing environment for a family dinner, a light snack or evening drinks. The restaurant can also accommodate special occasions and functions, and the hotel’s bar offers a range of drinks, including a cocktail menu, and is open until late.
